The striped beads in this necklace are from Burkina Faso, and they are spellbinding -- I don't think it's possible to take a boring photo of them! They were acquired by a friend of mine during her travels ... I think I enjoy hearing about her experiences as much as I enjoy working with the beads!
I don't know nearly as much about the colored green and blue marquise glass beads -- they look like standard pressed glass. I do love the vivid colors!
