The glass beads in this necklace are from Ghana, and were created by recycling glass — first the pieces are pulverized, then later re-fused to form interesting patterns. I paired them with some very fancy pink freshwater pearls to create a contrast of not only surfaces, but also a different reference — together, they evoke the idea of spray-painting for me … how about you?
